- "Damian, you didn't eat your sandwich!"
- "You're not happy?"
- "I'm not happy that you didn't eat your sandwich"
- "But you're still happy?
Because you love me?"
- "Yes, I am happy because I love you."

.... (thoughtful pause)

-"You're not going to give me anymore hugs and kisses?"
-"Of course I will, why do you think that?"
-"Because I didn't eat my sandwich"
-"Nothing you can do will make me stop giving you hugs and kisses! Because I will always love you. Damian, I love you"
-"Love you too"
